Look At Me

Self-Portrait project for my painting class. I'm enjoying how it's turning out so far, but I've got a few things left to do. The ear and shirt in particular need some more work.

And now this is the finished product. Hoorah! I finished something!

It May Eat You

So this semester I'll be trying my hand at making sculptures. This one is made out of foam and painted with acrylics. The craftsmanship is a little shoddy. However, this being my first sculpture ever, I'm proud of it. This is meant to be pared with my painting of the dude smoking.

And my professor chose it to be a part of the student gallery. Neat!

Party Animal

It's been awhile, but classes have started again here's my attempt at our first assignment (which is doing whatever we want I guess).

Painting 1: Final

This is my last painting this semester for my painting class. It's the only one I like too. Oils n' stuff on Canvas.

Model

So this is my first live model painting. I didn't use an underpainting because we only had one 2 hour session with her. I had to restart several times because I still can't handle oil paint very well. I'll be finishing up some details and the background soon as well.

This week we'll be doing another live model and I think I'll be using acrylics if I can manage it.
